Feeling helpless about the plight in Aussie? Come along and help us make pouches for the injured animals and fab cooling neck ties to make our firefighters a little more comfortable. easy patterns, easy sewing. lessons on using a machine too! electric and hand crank machines available, plenty of space and the kettle will be on! 2 dates are set, more can be arranged, any hrs are appreciated, even if its just to make tea or provide gooey cakes!

It is with great pleasure to announce that I have been invited to be part of NZ Fashion Week 2019. I will be running a selection of workshops using vintage sewing machines and traditional mending and repair techniques, to create new fashion from old, repurpose clothing into costume or just mend instead . All in aide to help keep apparel out of landfill. Am so excited about this opportunity and look forward to meeting you all there. Book direct through the City Library link below.

Great way to learn how to sew! program ends April 18th
This is one very big weekend event at the ASB showgrounds on Greenlane, Auckland. 2 days full of activities, stalls and events.
I'll be running a sewing hub on classic hand crank and vintage sewing machines. Come and have a go and make yourself a sustainable shopping bag using vintage fabrics or up cycle something from the seconds rack.
